Most intimidating color
Black is the absorption of all color and the absence of light. Some of us use it to hide our weight; others among us use it to hide our feelings, our fears or our insecurities. In color psychology, black means power and control, hanging on to information and things rather than giving out to others. For the 2016 game I told him Penn State had pretty much zero chance, but he said "it's a Penn State White Out- of course PSU has a chance." We all know what happened that night...I've learned to never underestimate the power of a White Out night in Happy Valley.
That game went to 2 overtimes after PSU fell behind 17-0 at halftime."Kirk Herbstreit: "Perfect touch on that pass to get it into t--"Brent Musburger: "Gosh Almighty, Kirk, get a load of the knockers on this one!"Kirk Herbstreit: "Yea, yea, Brent, focus, we're live."I'll tell you from experience, the white feels a hell of a lot cooler. Plus I doubt the coordination has as much of an intimidation factor as, say, the crowd noise or attitude. The crowd could be stark-ass naked and as long as they're loud it's gonna be hard to play there. Brent would be too busy looking at the nude females. He would be saying "Now you young boys might have a little motivation after seeing these oh so fine young women!
Black is intimidating, unfriendly and unapproachable because of the power it exudes.
